Dr. Allison Feldt, PT, DPT is not just a Pelvic Expert Physical Therapist; she is a dedicated advocate for women's health, owner of Body Motion Physical Therapy, and a firm believer that every woman deserves expert care throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
With a passion for empowering women to lead vibrant lives in strong, pain-free bodies, Dr. Allison draws from her own experiences as a mother of three. She intimately understands the profound changes the body undergoes during and after pregnancy, and her favorite mantra is, "once postpartum, always postpartum."
Driven by a deep concern for the long-term well-being of women, Dr. Allison witnessed too many mothers in their late 40s and 50s grappling with various health issues—hip, knee, back, ankle, neck, and shoulder problems, often compounded by incontinence. Shockingly, these challenges persisted into their 60s and 70s, leading to joint replacements and surgeries, ultimately resulting in an older generation confined to wheelchairs and diapers in nursing homes.
This poignant observation ignited Dr. Allison's mission: to break this cycle and guide mothers in reclaiming their cores—strengthening pelvic floors and abdomens—post-childbirth. As a mother herself, she intimately understands the aftermath of pregnancy and childbirth and is committed to sharing the holistic steps necessary for moms to heal themselves.
Dr. Allison earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern in 2012, and since then, she has been unwavering in her commitment to promoting pelvic wellness.
